Her mom's a single parent and because of Charmaine, her mom stopped working to spend each day with her and take care of her and thus their family income kinda put to a stop and forking out money for charmaine's hospital bills starts to become a headache to Cynthia - Charmaine's mom.
$350,000 USD(Half a million Singapore dollars) is actually needed to bring Charmaine to New York for treatment and this amount is to huge for Cynthia alone to bear it. To the extent she ever thought of selling her kidney to raise that amount of money to save her child. Despite this situation that she's going through, she's learn to even count her blessings each day because of the smiles&love her 2 kids give her. Even as I went on reading, there's just so much emotions that just overwhelmed me, I really hope we can do something together to save this kid here...
I dont know how all of you out there feels about this after you read the exact same thing that I read, but just as I was talking to some of us here, we've decided to raise funds together as a FC to even help Cynthia to tide through this difficult period. Wei Jian has always encouraged us to do charity, and I thought this is a good chance to be together as one, not for Weijian this time, but for someone out there that needed this little something we can do to help her
